Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Event
Ventura County Sheriff’s Emergency Services, in coordination with the National Weather Service, is tracking a moderate Santa Ana wind event that continues to impact Ventura County through Saturday evening. Southern California Edison (SCE) is currently monitoring 13 circuits for possible Public Safety Power Shutoff. Southern California Edison Community Resource Centers
Southern California Edison has established Community Resource Centers to support those impacted by a potential PSPS. These sites provide a safe location to recharge electric devices, and access PSPS event information.

EXCESSIVE HEAT
Ventura County Sheriff’s Emergency Services, in partnership with Ventura County Public Health, is monitoring a multi-day heat wave event. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued heat-related warnings for most non-coastal areas of the County from Saturday through Monday evening.
