Firefighters will continue to work through the night to knock down a brush fire that broke out along the west side of Lake Piru shortly before 1:00 PM on Thursday, 10/3/2024.

- 14% containment
EVACUATION ORDER
- At 1:00PM on 10/3/2024, an EVACUATION ORDER order was issued for all areas of Lake Piru Recreation area, including Dominguez Canyon.
ROAD CLOSURES
- Piru Canyon Road, north of the community of Piru to Lake Piru.

Highway 150 Closure
- Highway 150 remains closed in both directions, from Stonegate Road in the City of Santa Paula to Thomas Aquinas College.
- It is anticipated the closure will remain in effect for several months.
