BRUSH FIRE – LAKE PIRU

 

Firefighters are working to contain a 292-acre brush fire burning in the area West of Lake Piru.  More information will be posted as it becomes available.  

EVACUATION ORDER

  • At 1:00PM on 10/3/2024, an EVACUATION ORDER order was issued for all areas of Lake Piru Recreation area, including Dominguez Canyon.
 
ROAD CLOSURES
  • Both directions of Piru Canyon Road, from the Community of Piru North to Lake Piru

 Highway 150 Closure

  • Highway 150 remains closed in both directions, from Stonegate Road in the City of Santa Paula to Thomas Aquinas College. 
  • It is anticipated the closure will remain in effect for several months.
