Hazardous Materials Incident – Pierpont Community

Public safety personnel are actively working to mitigate the presence of an unknown gas and odor in the sewer pipeline system near the Community of Pierpont in the City of Ventura. Residents who live within the warning areas are asked to follow the instructions of public safety officials. 

 

Evacuation Orders

All evacuation and shelter in place orders for the Pierpont area have been lifted as of 6:00pm.

 

 

Road Closures

Hard road closures are in effect for:

  • Monmouth Way between Pierpont Blvd and Harbor Blvd.

ROAD CLOSURES

 Highway 150 Closure

  • Highway 150 remains closed in both directions, from Stonegate Road in the City of Santa Paula to Thomas Aquinas College. 
  • It is anticipated the closure will remain in effect for several months.
